It takes about 6-8 weeks for us to review each application with Cohort start dates beginning in January, May or September. All companies will be receiving a notice of their application status within a 2 month time frame. If your application is not accepted, we do encourage you to continue to work on growing your startup and to apply again for the next cohort.
Phase 2: After successful completion of Phase 1, you will be required to submit your Start-up Visa Road-Map, which lists your plans on moving your business to Canada. If the Road-Map is proven viable, we will work with your team to issue the Letter of Support and your arrival in Canada for Phase 2 of the program. Once you have completed Phase two, you will begin Phase 3 in Vancouver, Canada in which you will be spending the next 4 months with us at Launch Academy to prepare your company for the Canadian market. Once you have completed the Maple Program succesfully, you will be recognized as one of Launch Academy's network of alumni companies and will continue to have access to various resources, public and private events and other services Launch Academy provides to it's companies.
